Vision & Style was founded in 2005 with a rebellious spirit and a lofty objective: To offer designer eyewear and eye care products and services at a revolutionary price, while leading the way for socially conscious businesses. Every idea starts with a problem. Ours was simple: eyewear is too expensive. Two optometrists, Ashutosh Kumar & Ivan Tauro, working with leading eyewear company thought.
It turns out there was a simple explanation. The eyewear industry is dominated by a single company that has been able to keep prices artificially high while reaping huge profits from consumers who have no other options. We started Vision & Style to create an alternative. An alternative that sets us apart from the rest.
We understand the importance of eyewear in everyday life and strive to provide excellent services. By circumventing traditional channels, designing glasses in-house, and engaging with customers directly, we’re able to provide higher-quality, better-looking prescription eyewear at a fraction of the going price.
Why is eyewear so expensive for the common people?
We believe that everyone has the right to have good vision and better style. Many people worldwide lack access to eye care, which means that they cannot effectively learn or work. To help address this problem, Vision Style partners with corporate houses to ensure that for every pair of glasses sold, a pair is distributed to someone in need.
